Every studio has a heart. Ours is a piano with a life story that spans decades and continents — a gift, a separation, and a long-awaited reunion.
This Kingsburg SP 1649 was purchased in Madrid in 1996 from Real Musical, one of Spain's most historic houses for instruments and sheet music. It was originally a gift from the mother of one of the studio’s founders, marking the beginning of a lifelong relationship with music.
For many years, the piano remained in Madrid while life led its owner across continents. Through every move abroad, it remained a constant — a home to return to.
In 2023, after a long time apart, it finally made the journey across the sea to Dubai, finding its new home in Al Wasl.
Today, it forms the heart of Jumeirah Piano Studio. Every lesson, recital, and quiet hour of practice takes place around the very instrument that has accompanied a musical journey spanning nearly three decades.
More than a piano, it is a living piece of the studio's history — one that continues to gather new stories with every student who sits before it.
